We ask that you be patient in this process. After being made ready for adoption, families who have a preliminary adoption application on file will be contacted. They need a safe and secure fenced yard to play in. Most will not be suitable for families with small children. Many of the Cavaliers surrendered to the Rescue Trust are not socialized properly and may experience some difficulty adjusting to home situations. Please note, in most cases, we require adoptive families have a secure fenced yard for the dogs to safely exercise in. We cannot take phone calls regarding available dogs. Our first priority is placing the right dog in the right home. We will contact you when a dog comes available matching your family needs.
